The Roots
It was in the streets of Clarendon, Jamaica where Lisa was born into a family of chefs. While catering she discovered her passion for cooking which she brought to the UK in her teens. In St Paul's Bristol she raised a Family who also started cooking from a young age. Her second son began working from age 9 at "Rice n Things" where he stayed for 6 years.
Firm Development
Age 15, Gully began selling his Caribbean food from his garden; catering and providing the community with fried and smoked chicken, curry goat and dumplings. 3 years later he went on to becoming head chef at a facility before being offered a proposal to work in the Star and Garter. It was here that 'The Family Firm' name was established and operated for a year before moving operations to our current location, inside The Full Moon pub.
